What is the AIT Door Advantage

AIT Doors is primarily a custom door manufacturer accommodating our customer's architectural needs with outside-the-box thinking and durability that only solid wood and our factory finish can provide. AIT Doors create door systems that exude the warmth and beauty only found in real wood doors, while also adding a curb appeal that will make your neighbors envious.

Construction

Our doors are constructed with mortise and tenon joints using cross-laminated stiles and rails to prevent cupping, warping, and twisting which are inherent to wood products. Unlike others, we use industrial-strength glues that bond chemically compared to the evaporation adhesive used by others. Our doors will last generations.

Finishings

One touch is all you need to feel the AIT difference. Our six-sided encapsulated finishing process has 25 stages of prep and over 20 man hours to complete. The process is completed with an industrial-strength catalytic clear coat that is hand rubbed for unsurpassed quality. Our finish quality is undeniable upon the first impression or the first touch.

Materials

The first step in our lumber selection process is to inspect every piece of wood delivered to our factory and reject every piece, we find unsuitable. Once the wood is pulled for an order, surfaced, and sanded, our Craftsman performs a final inspection and discard all material that is not furniture grade. Once furniture quality has been achieved, production can start.

Options

When material availabilities are limited in this market, we deal with a network of international suppliers and wholesalers to keep providing you, the dealer, the homeowner, the contractor, the builder, or the architect with solutions while maintaining the highest level of quality.

Hardware

In order to provide the best, AIT Doors only uses commercial-grade ball-bearing hinges. Wood thresholds are available.
